This weekend we head to Bristol Motor Speedway for the Food City 300. The race is Friday night at 7:30 PM ET on the CW. Practice and qualifying start at 2 PM ET. It’s the first race of the Xfinity Series Playoffs. Outside of Connor Zilisch and Justin Allgaier, there is a 30+ point gap above the cutoff line. After them, 3rd through 12th are separated by 16 points. This is the same tire code the Xfinity Series has run here since 2022. The Xfinity Series runs at Dover, which is the best comp for Bristol. I’ll be using recent Bristol data, 2025 speed, recent Dover data, practice data, and a few other things when building lineups this weekend. One last note about the Xfinity race this weekend: the track put down the PJ1 again on Friday morning. We did see the second groove come in faster than expected during the truck race.
NASCAR Xfinity Series DFS Picks: Food City 300
The stages are 85, 85, and 130, which is a total of 300 laps. With 300 laps, we’re looking at 135 potential fastest lap points and 75 laps led points. There have been at least seven cautions in 6 of the last 8 Xfinity races here. Earlier this season was the first time since 2020 we’ve had a spring race at Bristol.
