This weekend, we head to Watkins Glen for the Mission 200. The race is Saturday at 3pm ET on The CW. Practice and Qualifying is Saturday morning. We will have a tight window, but I should have everything posted by 2pm ET. For a second straight season, there is a new tire code for Watkins Glen. It’s the same tire code they ran at Sonoma earlier this season. Shane Van Gisbergen, Michael McDowell, Riley Herbst, and Kaz Grala will be racing with the regulars this weekend. I’ll be using recent road course data, recent Watkins Glen data, 2025 speed, and a few other things when building lineups. There are 4 races left for the XFINITY regular season, and we could see some teams take some shots on different strategies to win themselves into the playoffs. I still feel like it’s unlikely they beat this strong field.
NASCAR Xfinity Series DFS Picks: The Mission 200
The stages are 20, 20, and 42, which is a total of 82 laps. With 82 total laps, we’re looking at 36.9 fastest lap and 20.5 laps led points. I could see different strategies in that second stage, like staying out running till 30 laps to go and pitting, trying to make it on fuel from there.
