NBA Best Bets for Today: It Ain't Over Til It's Under (Friday, Dec. 22)

NBA Best Bets for today’s action! It Ain’t Over Til It’s Under will highlight one game total and one player prop under for the slate. We won’t cash until the final horn sounds, but we’ll be cashing often.
Toronto Raptors Under 111.5 (-114 on FanDuel)

Over the last 10 games, Philadelphia leads the league in defensive rating. They’ve moved up to 2nd on the season, behind only Minnesota. The competition hasn’t been amazing during that stretch, but it’s not like Toronto is an imposing offense.
The Raptors are 21st in offensive rating and 22nd in points per game. They’re 24th in offensive rating on the road, and facing Philadelphia in their own building is particularly challenging. The Sixers’ 110.0 defensive rating on the season is due in large part to their 107.9 mark at home.
It’s a slight pace upgrade for Toronto, but that’s about all they having going for them.
Kyle Kuzma Under 7.5 Rebounds (-150 on Fanatics Sportsbook)

Feels like a big number for Kuzma here. He’s averaging 9.9 rebound chances per game, and it’s down slightly over the past 10 games (9.3). Kuzma has spiked some big rebound games when Daniel Gafford has missed time, but his rebounding rate drops 1.6% with him on the floor.
Golden State has been the best rebounding team in the league over the past 10 games. They’re up to 4th on the season in rebounding rate. The Warriors are also playing slower this season, ranking 13th in pace after leading the league last year. They’re down to 16th over the past 10 games.
Just a rebound or two too high here, and wouldn’t be surprised if the number comes down to 6.5 by game time.
