Point Guard

Damian Lillard – Lillard had an amazing game last night, scoring 26 with 9 assists, 5 rebounds, 1 steal and 1 block. He was in a lot of top GPP lineups last night, and tonight he plays at home vs Indiana. The line on this game is +2, so as you would expect, this will be a great game to watch as two top teams go at each other. I would expect most starters from both teams to play over 35 minutes in this match, and Lillard should have another good game in this one.
Kirk Hinrich – Kirk has been playing a ton of minutes with Derrick Rose out. He played 35 and 37 minutes in the last 2, and he is cheap enough on most sites where he’s a pretty safe player to target so you can afford some studs. He averaged over 25 FD points in his last 2 starts, so for his price he’s a good value.
Shooting Guard
E’Twaun Moore – If Jameer Nelson misses the game on Monday again, Moore is a great value, he’s would get the start again at Point Guard, although he’s listed as SG on some times. He has played at least 30 minutes in each of the last 3 games. He didn’t do so well in the last game, but that was a tough match up vs Spurs, I would expect him to do much better vs WAS, and have a line closer to what he did vs ATL which was 12 points, 3 rebounds, 5 assists and 2 steals for 26.1 Fantasy points. If Jameer Nelson starts, he would be a fine play vs WAS as well.
Louis Williams – With Kyle Korver being out today, I would expect Williams to start again at shooting guard today after not playing on Saturday due to it being the 2nd game of a back-to-back set. He’s pretty close to minimum salaray on a lot of sites. $3000 on DK, $6900 on SS, and $7350 on DD. Update: He’s been announced as starter already.
Small Forward

Nicolas Batum – Batum is one of my favorite NBA fantasy players as he contributes in all categories. Last night he quietly almost had a triple-double with 9 points, 9 rebounds and 9 assists for a solid 35 Fantasy points. He usually scores more than that as he’s averaging 15.6 pts during his last 5 games. As mentioned above, this game should be pretty close, and I would expect Batum to play a ton of minutes with great chance for him to contribute again in all categories for a solid night. Batum said it will be a “big statement” if they beat Indiana, so I am sure they will be playing extra hard at home.
Trevor Ariza – Ariza has played 4 games since returning from his hamstring injury, and he appears to be fine. He’s averaging 36.5 minutes since his return and he gets a good matchup vs Orlando. His price is only $6300 on FD so he can easily hit and possibly exceed his value. On some times sites Martell Webster is also listed as Small Forward, so he’s a fine play as well.
Power Forward
LaMarcus Aldridge – Aldridge should be the top PF tonight, he’s averaging 25 poitns and 12 rebounds in his last 4 games while playing at least 36 minutes in each. I would expect him to have another good night as he will likely play close to 40 minutes tonight.
David West – David West had a huge game on Sunday @LAC with 24 points, 12 rebounds, 2 assists and 1 block for a total of 42.4 Fantasy points. His price tag of $7200 makes him a great option as he has scored at least 37 fantasy points in 3 of his last 4 games where has played at least 29 minutes. I expect him to play closer to 35 minutes in this game and have another great game.
Center
Joakim Noah – Noah’s minutes had been kind of low a week ago, but he has now played at least 33 minutes in his last 3 games. He’s still under priced on a lot of sites and Noah is a guy that can put up huge numbers when given a lot of minutes as he contributes in all categories. With only 5 games, there’s not a lot of C to pick from. I like Noah and his match up vs Jason Smith. Also, without Derrick Rose all the Bulls have to step up their game.
Value: Robin Lopez is another C to consider as he is pretty cheap.
