NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Friday, February 10th

GENERAL SLATE THOUGHTS
7:30 AM ET: Obviously, a lot has changed in the NBA over the last two days. And even though the trade deadline has passed, there is still going to be plenty of uncertainty when it comes to the availability of everyone on their new teams (in addition to the normal, everyday NBA stuff we deal with). For instance, you can see from one of this morning’s official injury reports that trade pending is littered throughout.
The rule of thumb I use is that new acquisitions need at least 48 hours before they are ready to play for their new team. The trade has to get officially approved by the league, the player has to get to the city where their team currently is, they have to get their physical before the trade can be officially approved, and then sometimes the coach wants a player to at least get a practice in before putting them in a game. Some players will suit up quicker than that, and some will take much longer. There is no science to knowing when a player will be available; we are simply reliant on the news (like always).
Instead of going through all 22 teams that are on this slate and how the trade deadline may (or may not) have affected them, I think it is better if I just give you two cheat sheets, so to speak, on how to get caught up on everything that happened over the last ~48 hours.
