NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Wednesday, December 28th

Andy Means (meansy53) will be bringing Premium subscribers his top NBA DFS plays to build around for the upcoming slate. A former Duke basketball walk-on, Meansy will also give you his thoughts on the slate as a whole from a macro perspective. On weekends, the GPP maestro you all know and love, STLCards, takes the reins. And on this rare occasion, we have Noto at the helm.

GENERAL SLATE THOUGHTS

9:45 AM ET – I had a terrible, horrible, no good, very bad slate on Tuesday. It started with Onyeka Okongwu getting in foul trouble in the first, second, and third quarters. After that, Aleksej Pokusevski got injured in the second minute of the first quarter and wasn’t able to return. The Thunder still scored 130 points, yet Lu Dort played only 22 minutes and had one of his worst fantasy outings of the season. At that point, my main lineup was dead and despite swapping to contrarian plays in the late games, I wasn’t able to make up for all of that lost fantasy production. There are plenty of nights like this in DFS. All we can do is dust ourselves off and move on to the next slate.
