NBA DFS Core Plays LIVE: Wednesday, February 8th

Andy Means (meansy53), a former Duke basketball walk-on, will be bringing Premium subscribers his top NBA DFS plays to build around on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Everyone’s favorite, Notorious, will be guiding you on Tuesdays and Thursdays. And on weekends, the GPP maestro you all know and love, STLCards, takes the reins.

GENERAL SLATE THOUGHTS

7:05 AM ET: I have to say, I opened up the slate this morning and felt an overwhelming amount of indifference. We have nine games, our normal-ish amount of Q tags and guys ruled out, and Kyrie Irving debuts for the Mavs tonight (sans Luka). I don’t know…maybe Meansy is ready for the All Star Break as much as the players are.

You know what I think this slate needs? A nice round of Woj bombs for the whole bar! A reminder that the trade deadline is tomorrow afternoon. And while I have made it a point starting the last few years not to get caught up in the rumor mill, you and I both know that there will be plenty of transactions over the next day and a half. Will anything affect tonight’s slate? We shall see!

Speaking of tonight’s slate, only one team on the second night of a back-to-back. So we’ll start there for a hot sec before looking at the rest of the slate.
