Hello, and Happy Monday! It’s only been a week, but it feels like the NBA is off to a weird start. The defending champs are 0-3 and look fully hungover after mustering just 102 points in a home loss to the Magic last night. The Heat – fresh off of trading for Giannis Antetokounmpo – sure look like the worst team in basketball. Miami is also 0-3, along with a league-worst minus-15.7 point differential. The Grizzlies, meanwhile, are off to a 3-0 start, thanks in large part to the exploits of the NBA’s scoring leader… Ty Jerome! What a time to be alive.
Slate Overview
Tonight, DraftKings and FanDuel are doing their main slates differently. DK is rolling with a 7-game docket with every contest tipping between 7:00 and 8:30 PM ET. FanDuel’s is a 9-gamer that includes the late-night MEM/UTA and GSW/DEN games. That’ll shake things up considerably on FanDuel, where we’ll have to consider the league’s two best players: Nikola Jokic and… Ty Jerome.
