NBA DFS Core Plays: Wednesday, October 27th

Andy Means will be bringing Premium subscribers his top daily fantasy basketball cash game plays and tournament pivots to build around. A former Duke basketball walk-on and now full-time DFS player, Andy will take an in-depth look into each of his core plays, and then blend it all together from a roster construction perspective. It is imperative that you read the following bullet points before proceeding so you know what I am trying to accomplish with this article, as well as how it will intertwine with some other things we offer here at RotoGrinders (e.g. LineupHQ, Crunch Time).

1. This is a cash game article. These are the players that I think you absolutely must have in your cash game lineup on that day’s main slate. Obviously, these plays aren’t going to work out 100% of the time. But I believe that starting your builds with these players on each slate is a recipe for profitability over the long run.

2. These plays are prioritized. The first player is the most important (i.e., the first player you should plug into your lineup), the next player is the second most important, etc. You can use this order as an indication of which plays I feel the strongest about in case you disagree with my stance on someone. Depending on the slate, I could provide as few as two players or as many as five or six.

Kudos for using “wacky” finally instead of the continued (very popular) misuse of the word “wonky” to describe things that are out of whack. Which, as Cheese might argue compellingly, actually means Means, that you have gotten them back into whack. So, again, kudos.
