NBA DFS Lineup Advice Today

Monday night brings a smaller 4-game slate with one high game total to kick things off and then (hopefully) limited injury situations throughout the night. The first game tips off at 7 PM ET, with Toronto visiting Indiana (Pacers -6, 245.5) and Jalen Smith questionable for the Pacers.

At 7:30 PM ET, we see Detroit in Madison Square Garden to face the Knicks (New York -11.5, 223.5) with no new injuries listed for either team.

At 8:00 PM ET, Brooklyn faces Memphis (Nets -2, 215) in the game with the lowest total of the night. Ben Simmons is questionable for Brooklyn, and given his injury history, it would not be surprising to see him sit this game out.

The final game tips off two hours later at 10:00 PM ET, with Miami facing Sacramento (Kings -7.5, 224.5) in the game that may see the highest ownership on the night. Miami is without Jimmy Butler, Tyler Herro, Terry Rozier, and others, leaving them shorthanded to face a Kings team that is 6th in the league in pace over their past 10 games.

Let’s sort through the slate and figure out what to do with our DFS lineups.

Top NBA DFS Picks for DraftKings & FanDuel

High Flyers

Who are the players I’m picking first for my squad? These guys are the first selections for both my cash game and tournament lineups, and I’ll sacrifice elsewhere, if need be, to ensure I get them in:

Bam Adebayo
FanDuel: $9,000
DraftKings: $8,600

Bam is the last man standing from Miami’s top 3 scorers with both Jimmy Butler and Tyler Herro out, and tonight, the Heat face a Sacramento team that ranks 6th in the NBA in pace over their past 10 games. This game has the 2nd-highest total on the night, and Bam is averaging 21.3 points and 11.5 rebounds over his past 4 games. Bam leads the Heat with 1.21 DK points per minute with Butler, Herro, Terry Rozier, and Kyle Lowry off the court this season.

Tyrese Haliburton
FanDuel: $9,700
DraftKings: $9,500

Over their past 10 games, Toronto has allowed the 5th-most points per game and the 2nd-most assists per game. That could mean a near-automatic double-double for Haliburton, who leads the league with 11.7 APG and has been averaging 21.7 PPG over his past 6 games. Haliburton has been playing increasing minutes since his return from injury in late January, but his price still hasn’t caught up to the mark it was before he got hurt.

Site Specialists

Just like a good 3-and-D small forward, sometimes a player fits the specific need we have on the specific site we’re playing on. These are the guys that stand out on one particular site:
