I hope everyone had a great Halloween and is ready to hit the ground running this weekend. We have plenty of NBA games on the schedule. And it’s hard to believe, but the Week 9 in the NFL is already upon us. We have some differences in slate-sizing tonight, as DraftKings has decided to leave the final two games off their main slate.

On large slates like this one, I always have the NBA starting lineups page up as I build lineups. We tend to get a lot of news breaking right before lock, so knowing who is starting for each team can go a long way. And since you are a premium member, you’ll see each player’s projection and ownership right on the lineups page.

We don’t have any teams playing on the second half of a back-to-back, but the Celtics, Hornets, Cavaliers, Kings, Raptors, Nuggets, Wolves, Thunder, and Blazers are all playing on the front end of a back-to-back. Cheers to the weekend. Let’s dive into the games.

Team Previews

Boston Celtics (at CHA)

We kick off the slate with the defending champion Celtics, who travel to Charlotte to take on the Hornets. The Celtics have the highest team total on the board, as the Hornets are in the bottom six in both points allowed per game and defensive rating. Targeting bigs against Charlotte has been a profitable strategy for years. With Kristaps Porzingis and Al Horford both out, Luke Kornet is projected to start and see minutes in the high 20s. I’ve hesitated to target Jaylen Brown this season, but it’s hard to ignore his 33% usage, and his 1.25 DK / 1.23 FD per-minute production is solid. Jayson Tatum is averaging a career-high in assists per game and also offers elite per-minute production.
