It was a great weekend of sports, as we had March Madness, NBA, NHL, and a fun finish on the PGA TOUR. Speaking of sports, MLB Opening Day is only a few days away. As is the case for every sport, we will have all of the content you need for DFS.

Tonight, the NBA schedule includes 8 games. FanDuel’s main slate includes all 8, while DraftKings’ main slate includes only the first 6. Based on my first glance at the slate, there are a lot of key players listed as questionable. It should be a busy day of injury news.

News Updates

1:15 PM ET

RJ Barrett, Bruce Brown, and Chris Boucher have been ruled out for the Raptors. Immanuel Quickley was already appealing, so now he’s an even stronger option. Anthony Davis has been upgraded to questionable for the Mavericks.

Team Previews

Minnesota Timberwolves (at IND)

We kick off the slate with the Wolves, who draw a favorable matchup against the Pacers. This season, Indiana is 7th in pace and 17th in points allowed per game. The Wolves have a team total that is a point higher than their season average. We have one key injury to monitor here, as Anthony Edwards is questionable.

Here’s who might benefit if Edwards is unable to suit up:

With Edwards currently in the projections, there’s not a single player on the roster with a positive RGValue.

Indiana Pacers (vs. MIN)

The Pacers draw one of the worst matchups on the board, as the Wolves are 24th in pace and 6th in points allowed per game. Despite the tough matchup, the Pacers have a team total that is nearly identical to their season average. Bennedict Mathurin is listed as questionable.

Believe it or not, Tyrese Haliburton has topped 47 fantasy points in 8 of his last 10 games. During that stretch, he’s scored at least 57 fantasy points in 5 of those games. I know the matchup isn’t ideal, but it’s hard to ignore his current form. He’s the only Pacer on my radar.
