Happy Saturday! My wife and I went to buy a new car for Black Friday. Nothing has ever felt more patriotic than walking into a Toyota dealership and leaving with a Ford. It’s what the forefathers would’ve wanted. It’s also a pretty unique car. I can’t remember anyone ever driving a white Bronco before.

Anyway, on to the hoops. We’re looking at a little 4-game main slate tonight on DraftKings tipping at 7 PM ET. Naturally, FanDuel can’t ever do what DK is doing, so theirs is a 5-gamer starting an hour earlier at 6 PM ET. They just had to cram that ATL-CHA game in there. Let’s jump in.

Team Previews

Atlanta Hawks (at CHA)

The Hawks toppled the mighty Cavs yesterday, and tonight they’ll turn their attention to the Hornets. Atlanta is a 4.5-point favorite on the road here. Barring some unexpected injury news, Atlanta is the far healthier team. We’re not expecting anyone other than Cody Zeller to miss out. Charlotte hasn’t been quite as advantageous a matchup this year as they have been in previous seasons. We’re paying full price for Trae Young ($9,600) and Jalen Johnson ($9,000), so Clint Capela ($5,500) currently pops as the best point-per-dollar value from the Hawks. This slate doesn’t have any of the super-duper-star centers on it, so I don’t mind taking the savings with Capela even as your lone C. Even on a smallish slate, I’d probably set a max-1 rule for Young and Johnson in a GPP build.
