Core Plays LIVE: NBA DFS Picks for Sunday, December 1st
A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career and has long been one of the top NBA DFS minds in the industry. On weekends, Taylor Smith takes the reins. Their Core Plays LIVE article will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, Core Plays LIVE has everything you need for your DraftKings and FanDuel lineups.
Happy Sunday! You know what’s fun? 4-day weekends. You know what sucks? The end of 4-day weekends. It’s still a little too early in the day to be getting the Sunday Scaries though, and we can be grateful for a plate full (plateful?) of DFS action today. After the NFL slates lock, we’ve got a 5-game NBA DFS slate over on DraftKings tipping off at 7 PM ET. Nothing is easy, so FanDuel tacked on an extra 3 games and will start their main slate an hour earlier at 6 ET.
There’s a lot to dive into, so let’s dive.

Team Previews
Miami Heat (at TOR)
The Heat are 4.5-point favorites tonight in Toronto, as they play without Nikola Jovic and Josh Richardson. Terry Rozier has been benched amid a poor start, which essentially leaves Tyler Herro running point with a bit more usage flowing to Herro, Jimmy Butler, and Bam Adebayo. Toronto is poor enough defensively to make any of the 3 stars look like decent individual plays, though Adebayo stands out the most on FanDuel at $8,000. Haywood Highsmith is currently projecting for some ownership at just $3,900, but there’s a reason Highsmith is $3,900. He’s averaging a painfully low 0.66 FP/minute on the year, so that’s chalk I’m happy to fade if it holds.
