Core Plays LIVE: NBA DFS Picks for Sunday, December 15th
A daily fantasy sports OG, Notorious has been roaming the DFS streets ever since they were invented. He has racked up multiple live final seats and several six-figure tournament wins in his DFS career and has long been one of the top NBA DFS minds in the industry. On weekends, Taylor Smith takes the reins. Their Core Plays LIVE article will zoom out on the slate as a whole, zoom in on the best NBA DFS picks, and constantly update as news breaks. Whether you are diving into the slate 5 hours before it starts or 5 minutes before it starts, Core Plays LIVE has everything you need for your DraftKings and FanDuel lineups.
We’re back to cap off the weekend with a nice little 6-game NBA DFS slate. The 4 teams who lost their NBA Cup quarterfinal contests are all in action tonight, and we get the added benefit of no teams playing either half of a back-to-back. Just a note that this slate locks a little earlier than usual at 6 PM ET.
Without further mumbo jumbo, let’s get right into it.

Team Previews
New York Knicks (at ORL)
The Knicks dropped their NBA Cup quarterfinal matchup at home against the Hawks earlier this week, and they should be rested heading into a tough matchup tonight in Orlando. New York is a 4.5-point favorite, but their 109.25 implied team total is nearly 8 points south of their season average. The Knicks’ regulars are healthy this evening, so we can expect major usage for Karl-Anthony Towns (28.9%) and Jalen Brunson (29.6%). I’m not thrilled about either considering Orlando’s defensive prowess, but KAT has offered a very high floor all season long. Josh Hart, Mikal Bridges, and OG Anunoby will all push for 40 minutes as usual, but this is just not a thrilling expected game environment.
