Happy Thursday!

I hope everyone is having a great week and is prepping for a great weekend. We have a lighter schedule in the association tonight, as there are only 5 games on the slate. We don’t have any teams playing on the front half of a back-to-back, but we do have 3 teams playing on the second half of a back-to-back (Wizards, Cavaliers, Wolves). I’ll be on Crunch Time tonight with Dean and Bobby if you want to join us. We go live at 6:00 PM ET.

If anyone is looking for a new show, the second season of Severance just started and is 2 episodes in. The first season was tremendous and is unlike most shows. We also started Paradise on Hulu, which just came out on Tuesday. There are 3 episodes available, and it’s really good so far. If the end of the world, politics, and a murder mystery suit your fancy, I recommend it.

Now, let’s dive into tonight’s NBA slate.

Team Previews

James of the Lakers

Los Angeles Lakers (at WAS)

We kick off the slate with the Lakers, who draw the best possible matchup for fantasy production. The Wizards play at a fast pace and are 29th or worse in rebounding rate, 3-point attempts allowed, points allowed, and defensive rating. The big news here is that Anthony Davis is out. We’ll have to keep an eye on LeBron James, Dorian Finney-Smith, and Gabe Vincent, as they are all listed as questionable.

If active, LeBron is my favorite spend of the slate. He has averaged 54 fantasy points per game with AD out of the lineup the last 2 seasons. Austin Reaves is a great pivot away from LeBron, or you could pair them together. Rui Hachimura, Max Christie, and Jaxson Hayes are all viable values in the frontcourt.
