NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, April 10
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Tyrese Maxey
Dean78904: Tyrese Maxey
ncorfield8k: Tyrese Maxey
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. On FanDuel, we have more value than we know what to do with. It’s a much tougher slate over there with the Thunder resting all of their key players. On DraftKings, I like the idea of locking in Bam Adebayo and Tyrese Maxey, and then filling in a bunch of great value plays around them. This is more of an information slate than anything, so make sure you stay on top of all the injury news throughout the day.
Dean78904: I prefer single-entry and smaller-field contests. I’m going to do the best I can in terms of setting you up for the slate here, but considering the pending goofiness that is the last couple of days of the NBA season, I can’t stress enough how you’ll need to default to our NBA DFS lineup optimizer, LineupHQ, when making your final decisions. Having said that, in general, I’m focusing on teams that are trying to win (76ers, Magic, Hawks, Hornets) when it comes to high-priced players. Your cheapies are best rostered from teams that are either tanking or resting because their playoff fate is already sealed.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – I’ll be leaning on studs from teams that are motivated to win and trying to find value on teams that are locked into their playoff seeding. The Spurs are particularly intriguing for value because they have only just been locked in, making them less predictable. We could get some bench pieces with big upside at lower ownership.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
