Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Keyonte George – Despite scoring at least 45 fantasy points in 7 of his last 11 games, George is checking in at less than 15% projected ownership on both DraftKings and FanDuel. The Jazz tend to be on the losing end of a lot of blowouts, but they should be competitive against a shorthanded Grizzlies team.

Dean78904: Anthony Davis — The Brow is quite rested, as the Mavericks have not played since Saturday, and his minutes limit is basically gone. The Mavericks get a tasty opponent, as the Nets have the NBA’s 4th-worst defensive efficiency, and specific to Davis, Brooklyn is the 4th-best matchup for Versatile Bigs, according to RotoGrinders Defense vs. Archetype tool. It has been a somewhat uneven season for Davis, but he still has the ability to break a slate, averaging 1.48 fantasy points per minute. If you’re looking for a spend-up to be different, low-owned, high-upside option in your large-field GPPs, AD is one of my favorite options.

tcsmith031: Josh Giddey — Charlotte’s defense is improved this season, but they’re still vulnerable against pick-and-roll ball-handlers. Giddey shouldn’t find much defensive resistance in this matchup, and he could fly under the radar if the masses are flocking to Donovan Mitchell at a similar price point. We also have pretty good value on the Charlotte side, so running it back with Giddey in GPPs is a fun way to get exposure to both sides of what could be a high-scoring game.
