NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, February 6

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: Kawhi Leonard (FD) / Jaylen Brown (DK)
Dean78904: Kawhi Leonard (FD) / Jaylen Brown (DK)
ncorfield8k: Kawhi Leonard (FD) / Jaylen Brown (DK)

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. This isn’t the most fun slate I’ve ever seen, but everyone is dealing with the same player pool. Even though the Knicks have the worst matchup on the board, the absence of Karl-Anthony Towns (and potentially OG Anunoby) makes them my favorite team to target. Mitchell Robinson will be popular, but I don’t think many other players on New York will garner much ownership.

Dean78904: I prefer single-entry and smaller-field tournaments. I really wish I wasn’t attracted to the game where both teams would love to lose, but IND/MIL is one of my favorite games on the board. I expect to have at least one of Ryan Rollins or Kevin Porter Jr. in every lineup I make. I’m really curious to see how the Pacers play going forward, as my expectation is that they will ramp up the tank by making a trade that fully incentivizes losing. If you missed it, they traded for Ivica Zubac and gave up next year’s 1st-round pick. However, and here is the important part, it is 1-4 protected. This is something to put in your back pocket going forward when thinking about the Pacers, as I won’t be surprised if/when they start going full Jazz on us.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – On such a small slate, I will likely be doing some game stacking on DraftKings. Generally, following the trade deadline, I’ll be paying close attention to news and starting lineups. We could be in for some surprises.
