What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. For tonight’s slate, there are 3 teams in particular that I want to be overweight on. The first is the Sixers, who are without Joel Embiid, Kyle Lowry, KJ Martin, Andre Drummond, and Jared McCain. Despite those injuries, they still have a team total that’s higher than their season average. The other two teams are the Bulls and Wizards. They are squaring off and are both in the top 4 in pace and the bottom 2 in points allowed per game this season.

Dean78904: I prefer to focus mostly on single-entry and small-field contests. We’ll likely get some Warriors value, and the popular Sixers also play at the start of the slate, meaning you could have a chunk of your lineup spots claimed early into the slate. You never know when the “who is in / who is out” news flow will drop, but if it comes after 7:00 PM ET, your patience could be rewarded if players like Nikola Jokic, Jordan Poole, and Alexandre Sarr are unavailable to go and you have lineup flexibility. I like the 76ers and Warriors plenty, but I’ll consider capping them at two in some lineups, as I’m intrigued at the prospect of a WAS/CHI game stack (especially if the Wizards are thin).

tcsmith031: Single-entry GPPs for me tonight. The field will justifiably pay up for the expensive Sixers and Bulls, but I’ll be sure to get some exposure to some of the other pricey options projected to pull less ownership. I have my eye on the Celtics (vs. the Fox-less Kings), while both sides of the OKC/NYK game look appealing in a game with a tight spread.

TJ Zwarych: In an MME setting in large-field contests, I’ll be heavily overweight on the 76ers, Bulls, Wizards, and Nets, and I’ll also add the Nuggets to that list if Nikola Jokic is out. I like prioritizing the later games just in case we don’t get that news before lock.
