Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Tyrese Martin and Noah Clowney – I can’t decide which one is my favorite, so I’ll include both in my answer. The Nets are going to be without their two highest-usage players in Cam Thomas and Michael Porter Jr. tonight. This opens up a ton of potential production against the Sixers. Both are elite values in cash games and tournaments.

Dean78904: Noah Clowney – The absence of both Cam Thomas and Michael Porter Jr. will make the lowly Nets even worse, but it also means there are some extra shots to go around. In 129 minutes with both MPJ and Thomas off the court, Clowney has seen a 7.2% usage bump all the way up to 27.28%, which is the highest on the team. The price is just not reflective of the role and presumed 30+ minutes, making Clowney one of the top value plays on the slate for me.

ncorfield8k: Pascal Siakam – The Pacers are tied for the 2nd-highest team total on the DraftKings slate, and they’re only 6.5-point favorites. It’s the perfect spot for Siakam against the Wizards, who play at the 3rd-fastest pace in the league and have the 2nd-worst defensive rating. It’s also the 2nd-best matchup for Versatile Forwards in our Defense vs. Archetype tool.

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
