NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Friday, November 8

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: Jaren Jackson
Dean78904: Jaren Jackson
tcsmith031: Jaren Jackson
TJ Zwarych: Jaren Jackson

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field and single-entry tournaments. This is a massive slate where many strong plays are going to have low ownership. I’m fine pivoting off the extreme chalk in tournaments. Three players that I want to make sure to be overweight on are Cade Cunningham, Scotty Pippen, and Daniel Gafford.

Dean78904: This looks like an awesome slate to dabble in the large-field GPP streets, but I expect to mostly stay in my lane and focus on single-entry and 3-entry max contests. The chalk tends to get even more popular in single-entry contests, but I expect to lean in on Scotty Pippen and Jaren Jackson. On DK, I’d have to imagine I’ll go double up at center in pretty much every lineup as it is my favorite position tonight (Myles Turner, Daniel Gafford, Goga Bitadze, Isaiah Stewart, Neemias Queta, etc.).

tcsmith031: This looks like a great slate for large-field, multi-entry tournaments, so that’s where I’ll focus my attention. This huge slate has a ton of cheap value at the center position, in particular, so it’ll be interesting to see if the ownership congregates on a few players or spreads out. I like the idea of flipping the build and paying up for Nikola Jokic more than the field if he’s going to go overlooked because of roster construction limitations. Punt values at other positions – including Brandon Boston and Amen Thompson – can help to make it work. There are also some affordable centers (Zach Edey, Isaiah Stewart) who could fly under the radar, which makes it possible to make the easy ownership pivot to some of them in GPPs.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 20-entry max, which has been my preferred style of contest this season. I’ll likely play two centers in every single lineup on DraftKings, while focusing on the value options at that position on both sites, like Neemias Queta, Zach Edey, Goga Bitadze, Isaiah Stewart, and Daniel Gafford.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
