NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, April 27
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Cade Cunningham
headChopper: Jamal Murray
TJ Zwarych: Jamal Murray
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. This is an interesting slate for two reasons. The first is that, with Anthony Edwards and Donte DiVincenzo both out, we have more value than usual. This really helps on the roster construction front. The second is that 2 of the 3 games have double-digit spreads. We’ll likely see at least one blowout tonight. If we play it right, we can really set ourselves apart from the field. The game that I could see getting ugly early is the MIN/DEN game. I don’t want to completely fade the Wolves, but I am going to be underweight on the Nuggets.
headChopper: I will be playing 20 lineups in large-field GPPs. Even though I like Denver to win this game and extend the series, I will make a rule of at least 2 Minnesota players in every lineup. However, I’ll be underweight on Mike Conley, who appears to be gathering a lot of pOWN%, so, naturally, that will put me overweight on other Minnesota players. I also think Detroit wins this game, so I want to be overweight on some of those players, namely Cade Cunningham and Tobias Harris.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll just be playing one lineup in single-entry contests, and as usual for me throughout these playoffs, I want to stack up the MIN/DEN game. I’ll have at least 3 Timberwolves players in my lineup while running it back with Jamal Murray on the other side.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
