NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, December 1

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

TJ Zwarych: Franz Wagner (FD) / Evan Mobley (DK)

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. My plan of attack is to be overweight on the Cavaliers. They have already ruled out Jarrett Allen, Darius Garland, Lonzo Ball, and Sam Merrill. Despite missing key players, the Cavaliers still have a team total that is higher than their season average. This is thanks to a matchup against the Pacers, who are 10th in pace and 21st in points allowed per game.

headChopper: I’m playing mainly small-field tournaments that are single entry. In single-entry tournaments, I can get away with some of the chalk I like. As of early in the day, I want Jalen Suggs, Evan Mobley, and Egor Demin in my builds. It looks like there will be a lot of chalk at the center position according to early pOWN%, so that’s a spot where I can differentiate by digging for a value play who is projecting for lower ownership.

TJ Zwarych: I am going to play 150 lineups in large-field tournaments, and I want to be overweight on the expensive Cavs and cheap Nets. The Magic players are projecting really well in a great matchup against the Bulls, but I’ll aim to be underweight on everyone outside of Desmond Bane, as the rest project to be incredibly highly owned.

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?
