What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field and single-entry tournaments. The Knicks are in the best matchup on the board and come into this game with a team total that is 3 points higher than their season average. I want to get a lot of exposure to them regardless, but I really want to take advantage of their potential injury situaiton with Josh Hart and Karl-Anthony Towns questionable. For that reason, I plan to have very little exposure to the first 2 games of the slate.

headChopper: I prefer smaller fields today, so I’ll focus on single-entry and 3-entry max contests for this smaller slate. My plan is to go overweight on the Knicks and Minnesota stars, as well as overweight on the Cleveland value—unless we get late-breaking news that shifts things. While every game on the slate has a spread of six points or more, the only blowout I’m really concerned about is the last game, featuring Boston. For those playing multiple entries, I think stacking these games is a great way to differentiate your lineups and gain an edge. All of these games have the potential to stay close.

Dean78904: My main focus will be on single-entry and smaller-field tournaments. If you are debating between two players, consider using the player from a later game as a tiebreaker. Additionally, if we still have a bunch of questionable players, I’ll consider mostly skipping (if not fully skipping) DET/HOU, which is the only game that locks at 2:00 PM ET. Of course, this could change if Amen Thompson (currently questionable) is ruled out or if I want to just roster a singular player. Rudy Gobert, Stephen Curry, Josh Hart, Karl-Anthony Towns, Ja Morant, and Bradley Beal are all currently questionable, and there is a good chance news won’t be fully settled when the slate locks. Not always, but many times the Knicks wait until 30 minutes before game time to finalize their injuries, and they play an hour after the slate starts.

ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – There are some impactful players who are questionable, so late swap will be important. The MIN/MEM game looks great, so I will be playing some full game stacks. And I’ll play many Cavs who could benefit from the absence of Evan Mobley.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
