Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: Single-entry tournaments – There are lots of ways to pay up on this slate. Luka Doncic is fantastic if you can afford him, but I like the idea of rolling out a more balanced build. LeBron James is a solid way to get some cheaper leverage off of Luka’s likely high ownership, and I like the matchup against the fast-paced Grizzlies for both Amen Thompson and Kevin Durant. The lack of great cheap value makes the stars-and-scrubs approach look fairly risky.
headChopper: I prefer smaller-field GPPs that have limited entries. I think I’m going to attack the Golden State situation more aggressively than the field. It’s the last game on the slate and tips off a full 90 minutes after the next-closest game, so if Stephen Curry does get ruled out, there’s a massive built-in edge for anyone who has left roster spots open. Even if he plays, Golden State will still be missing a significant amount of normal rotation minutes with Jimmy Butler, De’Anthony Melton, Al Horford, and Jonathan Kuminga all out.
TJ Zwarych: I am going to roll out 150 lineups in large-field tournaments, with a focus on getting overweight on Luka Doncic, Anthony Edwards, and Jaylen Brown as my spend-ups. I’ll go to Golden State to find cheap value.
