NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Monday, November 18
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
tcsmith031: Cade Cunningham
headChopper: Tyrese Haliburton
Dean78904: Cade Cunningham
ncorfield8k: De’Aaron Fox (FD) / Cade Cunningham (DK)
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll generally play both single- and multi-entry GPPs on decently sized slates, and this one is no exception. This slate already has a lot of appealing cheap value, but there isn’t a Nikola Jokic or a Luka Doncic type of pay-up play to make the stars and scrubs builds really work. Setting a max-2 or max-3 for the Pacers on DK and the Kings on FD is a rule I’ll consider, with those teams likely to be primary sources of value.
headChopper: I’ll be multi-entering in large-field contests. It’s early, and things can change, but I’ll be overweight on Knicks, 76ers, and Pacers players. I’ll target the CHI/DET and IND/TOR games as spots where I can build some game stacks. Outside of that, I’m just jamming in higher-projected players around those builds.

Dean78904: As usual, I will concentrate on the single-entry streets. 11 of the 16 teams playing basketball will be on the back half of a B2B, so the slate can see some more fragility/players out than usual. One thing we can basically always count on is Coach Thibs running his players into the ground (despite a B2B), so I’ll likely have at least one Knick on every lineup. Additionally, I expect to have at least one Pacer, as they are without some players, and they have an appealing matchup in Toronto.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – There are many games on this slate, and most have close spreads, so I don’t think game stacks are necessary for this slate. I’ll be spreading out my exposures, but of course, focusing on the games with high totals and close spreads—specifically, CHI/DET and IND/TOR. I’ll also take plenty of shots on the Knicks due to the great matchup despite the blowout risk.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
