NBA DFS Showdown Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Game 3 of the NBA Finals

Who are your three favorite Captains, ranked in order?

Notorious: Al Horford, Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving
squirrelpatrol: Al Horford, PJ Washington, Jrue Holiday
headChopper: Luka Doncic, Jaylen Brown, Al Horford
eys819: Luka Doncic, Jayson Tatum, Kyrie Irving
kmurray03: Luka Doncic, Kyrie Irving, Al Horford

Is there anything that happened in the first 2 games that projections might not be fully accounting for?

Notorious: Maxi Kleber was quiet in Game 1 and logged 16 scoreless minutes in Game 2. He’s not going to jump off the page for the game-log watchers out there. However, he picked up 3 fouls in the 1st half of Game 2 and then another foul 30 seconds into his 3rd quarter stint. Despite that, he ended up closing the game for Dallas. If he has a decent shooting performance, I think we could see minutes in the low 20s.

squirrelpatrol: Yes, projections seem to indicate this will be a close game where Dallas has a chance, while I think from Games 1 and 2 that Boston is the much better team. Luka Doncic just doesn’t have enough help to keep this series close, and I expect Boston to win this game even though they’re on the road and without Kristaps Porzingis.

headChopper: It looks pretty much like it should. If I was going to say anything, it would be that Kyrie Irving is projected for roughly the 3rd-most raw fantasy points, which is similar to his projections for Game 1 and Game 2. Perhaps the projections aren’t able to account for the fact that the Boston game plan has been to let Luka Doncic do more and take Kyrie away at all costs.

eys819: Assuming Kristaps Prozingis is active, his minutes and effectiveness will be very difficult to project. He could essentially not be able to go after his first rotation and play less than 10 minutes, he could play 20+ minutes and have limited production, or he could be totally fine and put up production similar to Game 1. There is an extremely wide range of outcomes, and his playing time and production will have an impact on the rest of the Boston rotation.

kmurray03: Currently, the projections might not be fully accounting for the world in which Kristaps Porzingis tries to give it a go and simply is not healthy enough to play. In this scenario, Al Horford could be in for big minutes.

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
