What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll take a walk in the single-entry streets tonight. It’s hard to get away from a stars-and-scrubs build, though the slate features enough stars to where some of them may go overlooked from an ownership standpoint. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, Alperen Sengun, and Karl-Anthony Towns are a few expensive plays in favorable matchups who aren’t currently projected to be too popular, and they are firmly on my radar in tournaments.
Krayton: This is setting up perfectly for single-entry contests, as we are getting quite a bit of cheap value emerging, and there’s always a handful of players who will go overlooked. I like playing the cheap value that is available and then getting to guys such as OG Anunoby, Karl Anthony-Towns, Jamal Murray, and Coby White. They could get lost in the mix.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments. With much of the best value coming from the Pelicans, it will be important to pay attention to the starting lineup and adjust if necessary once it comes out. The biggest edge tonight is simply paying attention to news (injuries, lineups, etc.) while much of the field will be busy on a Saturday night.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups in large-field contests, and I plan to back load my lineups as much as possible. I’ll play at least one Pelican (but probably more) in every single lineup, and I plan to at least double the field on Nikola Jokic.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
