What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: The slates are wildly different, with FanDuel including the 4 late-night games. I prefer large-field GPPs on FanDuel and single-entry, smaller-field contests on DK. The lack of value on DK means I prefer a balanced build, while I’ll be anchoring a more stars-and-scrubs approach with Nikola Jokic on FD.
Krayton: The slate reminds me of the NFL slate for Sunday, where we are getting plenty of cheap value on FD which can lead to a nice stars-and-scrubs build. I like going overweight on Victor Wembanyama along with another star on FD, whereas on DK, there are several mid-tier options that I will be mixing-and-matching in my lineups.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – On DraftKings, every game locks within half an hour of each other. Since there won’t be much to look for in terms of late swapping, I’ll just try to build well-constructed lineups that project within 10 points or so of the optimal but have a couple contrarian pivots. On FanDuel, there is a lot of edge to be had by paying attention to late news on a Saturday night, so I’ll make sure to pay attention to news throughout the evening.
TJ Zwarych: Without all that many spots I’m thrilled to target, I prefer single entry tonight. Despite the lack of options, I prefer the middle range, with most of my preferred plays coming between $5,000-$8,000 on both sites (outside of Tyrese Maxey, Nikola Jokic on FD, and a few others).
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
