Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll focus primarily on single-entry GPPs. Some of the cheap chalk looks pretty fragile, with players from the lowly Wizards and Pelicans popping amid some injury news. As we saw with the uncertain Brooklyn situation last night, there’s a potential edge in playing some of the lower-owned value plays from those same teams. Derik Queen and Tre Johnson are a couple of early standouts who aren’t projected to be too popular. I also don’t mind taking the extra savings and going down to Jose Alvarado if Jeremiah Fears is going to attract more ownership.
Krayton: I will be focusing on single-entry and 20-max contests tonight. Luka Doncic is someone I will be very overweight on. His upside is huge with Austin Reaves and LeBron James out. I am considering locking him into all my of my lineups, as there is a decent amount of value with guys like Bub Carrington and Saddiq Bey available.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing 150 lineups tonight in large-field GPPs. I plan to pick a few of the really cheap value plays and get way over the field so that I can get the expensive studs. Luka Doncic is my preference of the pricey stars, but I’ll make sure to get Victor Wembanyama and Nikola Jokic (on FD) in my portfolio as well.
