Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?
tcsmith031: Khris Middleton enjoyed a massive 14.3% usage spike across a 236-minute sample with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard off the floor during the regular season. Milwaukee’s hopes of staying in this game today will hinge on Middleton and Bobby Portis shouldering a very heavy offensive load.
eys819: We obviously don’t have a huge sample with Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard both off the floor this season, as they both only missed the same game once during the regular season. In the sample we do have, the biggest beneficiaries were Khris Middleton and Bobby Portis. Middleton led the Bucks’ regular rotation members with a 32% usage rate (+8.3%) and also saw a huge boost in his assist rate (+15.1%). Portis was 2nd among regular rotation members, with a 30.8% usage rate (+7.5%).
kmurray03: Pascal Siakam has really benefited from playoff rotations, as he has played 36+ regulation minutes in each game in this series. He also has seen plenty of volume, as he has attempted 25, 23, and 17 shots. Siakam appears to be taking control of this team more in the playoffs.
