What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

tcsmith031: I’ll play a mix of single-entry and 20-max contests. Memphis is a solid source of value amid some injuries, but I also like the idea of getting heavy exposure to both sides of the ATL/TOR game, which has the highest total and tightest spread on the slate. Coming in over the field on RJ Barrett and Scottie Barnes – especially on DK where they’re likely to be a bit lower-owned – makes sense considering I’ll have quite a bit of exposure to Jalen Johnson, Clint Capela, and others on the Atlanta side.

Krayton: I will be playing single-entry tournaments, and I really like the idea of overstacking the ATL/TOR game. Both Trae Young and Jalen Johnson are two guys I will be looking to build around and then will be getting to RJ Barrett and Scottie Barnes on the Toronto side. I will also be locking Scotty Pippen in, and Zach Edey will continue to be a core play until his price gets too high.

TJ Zwarych: I’ll only be playing one lineup tonight, and I have a very similar strategy to Krayton. I want to game stack the ATL/TOR matchup, and although the Hawks’ side is projecting to be fairly highly owned, that’s not the case for the Raptors. Scottie Barnes is my favorite run-back, and I want at least 4-5 players from this game in my lineup.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
