Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
tcsmith031: Donovan Mitchell (FD) / Immanuel Quickley (DK)
Krayton: Donovan Mitchell (FD) / Immanuel Quickley (DK)
TJ Zwarych: Bam Adebayo
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll play 20-max GPPs. I think Luka Doncic will be more popular than the projected ownership indicates, especially after his monster game on Friday against the Wizards. I’m not in love with the punt value on this slate, so I’m leaning toward taking an underweight approach with Doncic in GPPs. It’s a risky approach, but a balanced build with some pieces from TOR comes together easily enough.
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry and 20-max contests on both sites. I will look to build around at least 3 pieces of the TOR game with their elite matchup against UTA. Immanuel Quickley, RJ Barrett, and Collin Murray-Boyles are the players I am looking at locking in due to their elite price and upside. Even though Austin Reaves is projected to be back tonight, I will be overweight on Luka Doncic, as there’s enough value available to afford him.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll just play one lineup in single-entry GPPs. I plan to game stack the CHI/MIA game while mixing in some pieces from the Raptors. I’ll likely go with a balanced approach, but if enough value opens up, I’ll try to pay up for Luka Doncic.
