Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
tcsmith031: Jalen Brunson
Krayton: Jalen Brunson
TJ Zwarych: Jalen Brunson
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll play both single-entry and 20-max GPPs. The Wolves are in a tough spot at Boston, but there is still some value here with Anthony Edwards sidelined. Julius Randle, Rudy Gobert, and Jaden McDaniels aren’t projected for much ownership, yet they all have seen healthy usage boosts with Edwards out of the lineup. On a small slate, I don’t mind leaning into the uncertainty and potential blowout risk by taking an overweight approach with a shorthanded Minnesota squad.
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry and 20-max contests on both sites tonight. On DK, I’ll look to play two centers in every build, as I want two of Jakob Poeltl, Rudy Gobert, and Oso Ighodaro in each lineup. They are all great values, so having two centers is one of the stances I will be taking. On FD, I will also add Maxime Raynaud to the mix.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing single-entry contests with just one lineup, and I plan to be underweight on the Minnesota starters. While the field gravitates to the starters, I’ll mix in a player like Bones Hyland and hope this one blows out. I’ll load up on the Knicks, Raptors, and Suns instead of the chalky Wolves.
