What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll play both 20-max and single-entry GPPs. I generally like to go light on the early games to wait for late news, but that’s difficult to do tonight with some of the best plays on the slate tipping off in the early window. What I may do is try to go lighter on some of the early expensive pieces (Ja Morant, Trey Murphy, etc.) and instead spend that salary on late players like Cade Cunningham, James Harden, Ivica Zubac, and DeMar DeRozan.
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry, with a heavy emphasis on the MEM game and also going overweight on both Kelly Oubre and Quentin Grimes since Tyrese Maxey, Paul George and Joel Embiid are out. I also like finding a couple of expensive players, such as Cade Cunningham and James Harden, and mixing them in with the chalkier pieces.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll be playing single-entry as well as 150 lineups in large-field contests. In both formats, Memphis vs. New Orleans will be my preferred game to target. I will also be playing a ton of 76ers. The later games aren’t nearly as exciting from a DFS perspective, but so I’ll be stacking the early games while picking a few late pieces to target like Cade Cunningham and Kawhi Leonard.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
