NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Sunday, May 19

Which useful trend or statistic stuck out most during your research?

tcsmith031: Tyrese Haliburton averaged 1.45 DK FP/minute during the regular season, with a 25% usage rate and a 44% assist rate. So far through 6 games of this series, Haliburton is contributing just 1.18 DK FP/minute with a 22% usage rate and an assist rate just north of 30%.

eys819: Jamal Murray is coming off a 4-for-18 shooting performance in which he injured his elbow early in Game 6. It was not even his worst shooting performance of the playoffs, as he shot just 3-for-18 in Game 2 of this series. The Nuggets have thus far failed to find another source of consistent offense to pair with Nikola Jokic as Murray deals with multiple injuries.

kmurray03: Karl-Anthony Towns has has a usage up over 23% so far in this series against Denver, as he has taken 13+ shots in all but two games this series. He also has 12+ rebounds in 3 of the 6 games against Denver.

Who is your top overall play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (Epignosis)

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
