What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll play one lineup across several single-entry GPPs. The Rockets have found lots of success in this series playing Alperen Sengun and Steven Adams together, and I wouldn’t be surprised if we’re a little low on Adams’ minutes projection. He has a wide range of outcomes thanks to his limited usage, but I’d prefer to save salary with Adams over a potentially chalky Buddy Hield.
Krayton: I will be playing single-entry contests. Amen Thompson is one of the players who is too cheap, and even if I weren’t playing one lineup, I would lock him in. He is averaging just over 1 FP/minute against GSW and has multi-position eligibility. There are quite a few center options that look good, such as Jarrett Allen, Myles Turner, Evan Mobley, and Alperen Sengun. Sengun is the center I like, as he’s been elite throughout this series against GSW.
ncorfield8k: Large-field tournaments – On a 2-game slate, I like leaning into game stacks and hoping one of these games separates from the other. It’s difficult to get too contrarian with every viable player getting some ownership, but I’ll mix in players projected for sub-20% ownership in most of my lineups.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
