What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I prefer the single-entry approach on this slate, especially on DraftKings where the tipoff times are quite staggered. Focusing on a few single-entry builds will make late swapping less of a headache, if necessary. I don’t often game stack in NBA, but it’s more viable on these smaller slates. WAS-IND looks appealing on the FanDuel side, while I’m intrigued by the way a BKN-SAC build comes together on DK.
Krayton: Even on small slates, I prefer the single-entry tournaments, as you can go with more of a game stack or you can play the best plays and get different with 1-2 lower-owned options, which is one of my favorite ways to play the small slates. RJ Barrett is a guy I have my eye on for a low-owned difference maker. On FD, I will be looking to stack up the IND/WAS game with guys like Pascal Siakam, TJ McConnell, and Kyle Kuzma (especially with Jordan Poole out).
TJ Zwarych: I prefer single-entry contests tonight, but the strategy is totally different on the two sites. On FanDuel, the Wizards vs. Pacers should be a fast-paced matchup without much defense being played. I like the idea of game stacking that one and loading up significantly on both teams. On DraftKings, I’ll spread out more, with Harden as my favorite spend up and a focus on the middle tier outside of him.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
