What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
tcsmith031: I’ll play single-entry again tonight. I have minimal interest in the BOS/CLE and OKC/POR games, so I’ll try to narrow things down to a 3-game slate on DraftKings. Jalen Johnson is a terrific way to spend salary, but I also like the idea of stacking a couple of expensive pieces from SAS/MIN. De’Aaron Fox and Julius Randle are both projected for reasonably low ownership as of early this afternoon, so it’s easy to surround them with chalkier value plays and hope the game shoots out.
TastefulTides: I will be playing single-entry and 3-max contests. The BOS/CLE game was initially one that I didn’t have any interest in, but with Derrick White and Neemias Queta ruled out, I will be forcing Payton Pritchard and Jaylen Brown into my builds. Toronto looks to be the team that I will be getting exposure to when looking for value pieces.
TJ Zwarych: I’ll just be playing one lineup in single-entry contests, and I’ll actually be playing a similar strategy to Taylor, fading the BOS/CLE and OKC/POR games. However, I’ll stack up Toronto, Atlanta, and Philadelphia. Tyrese Maxey and Jalen Johnson are my favorite expensive plays, and I’ll go with the value from Toronto.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?

About the Author
Robert Brown (aka Epignosis) was having lunch at a sports bar. A football game was on. He remarked to his wife that if he could have a second life, he’d like to be someone who enjoyed watching sports. That enjoyment began when he signed up for a fantasy football league that needed one more player. Since then, he has enjoyed playing NFL, NBA, and (especially) MLB DFS. When not teaching American literature, editing content for RotoGrinders (which he has done since 2019), or making lineups, Epignosis is rocking out or jazzing it up on one of several possible instruments.
