What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: For what feels like the 30th straight slate that features the Bucks, my plan in small-field and single-entry tournaments is to fully-fade Giannis Antetokounmpo. Even with Damian Lillard and Bobby Portis out, we haven’t seen much upside from Giannis. The last time he topped 70 fantasy points was more than 2 months ago.
headChopper: My preferred format today, with the smaller slate and one late start time, is making one lineup in the flagship GPP and entering it in some single-entry GPPs. I’m going to be playing multiple pieces from Portland to start my lineup. Then I want to grab a big piece from the LAL/GSW game and round out the lineup with value pieces as they open up throughout the day.
Dean78904: My preferred format is single-entry and smaller-field contests. As the season winds down and rotations have become more volatile, I have widened my range of outcomes/randomness and am more open to players that don’t necessarily project well. I know he has been incredible of late, but I’m strongly considering not playing Deni Avdija in my main lineup as he’ll presumably be popular.
