What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. I want to be overweight on the Magic tonight, particularly Jalen Suggs. A matchup against the Heat is difficult, so I’m hoping that will help curb ownership. He’s going to soak up usage with Franz Wagner, Paolo Banchero, and Moe Wagner all out.
headChopper: I will be playing mid-stakes with 5-10 hand-built lineups. I don’t want to use any sub-$4,000 salary savers to force a stars-and-scrubs build. Obviously, that changes if we get injury news that happens later. But I would rather work in the mid-range than force the elite players (Giannis Antetokounmpo, Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, LaMelo Ball) into my lineups.
Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and small-field contests. The CHI/ATL environment is just too good, so I expect to have more of that game than the field. I love the Rockets tonight and basically all their starters, so I expect to have at least one in every lineup I make.
