Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I like small-field and single-entry tournaments. In these contests, we don’t have to get too crazy with our builds. My plan of attack is to be overweight on the Spurs, as they have the best matchup on the board and will be without Victor Wembanyama. I also like the idea of getting exposure to Luka Doncic in a great matchup at low ownership.

headChopper: I’m running one lineup in mid-to-high-dollar smaller-field GPPs. I can’t say for certain what the final build will look like yet, but it will include plenty of chalk. Sometimes, it’s unavoidable in NBA contests. However, every lineup needs some differentiation, and tonight, I’ll aim to get different with a moderate-spend player coming in at a relatively low pOWN%, like Nikola Vucevic or De’Aaron Fox.

Dean78904: My main focus will be single-entry and smaller-field contests. Not a rule I’d implement on FD, but on DK, I’ll very likely have at least one of Zach Collins or Charles Bassey in every lineup. On that note, CHI/SAS is my favorite game stack. The players are cheap enough that this can be my foundation, and it is possible to squeeze in a big spend like Luka Doncic.
