What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: You know I love me some small-field and single-entry tournaments. This is a fun slate on paper, as there are plenty of options and a lot of players that seem to be getting overlooked. My plan of attack is to fade the super expensive players and build more of a balanced lineup.

headChopper: With a smaller slate and the spread-out nature of the games, I’m limiting myself to 1 hand-built lineup for single-entry and 3-max GPPs with smaller fields. I’ll also sprinkle it into a large-field GPP, just in case I hit the nuts. My approach is to grab some early value and hold off on my big spends until the late hammer. I want two or three expensive players from the MIN/LAL game, which means fading elite options from the earlier games and hoping they don’t go off.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. It is a small slate that I anticipate making even smaller, as I expect to mostly neglect GSW/ORL and CHA/DAL. As for the remaining games, ideally I’d make stacks, meaning I’d pair one of Nikola Jokic or Jamal Murray with one of Damian Lillard or Giannis Antetokounmpo, and so on.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
