What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I play small-field tournaments. My strategy is to be overweight on the Heat. Each lineup that I build will have at least one of Tyler Herro and Bam Adebayo. The Heat are without Jimmy Butler and still have a team total that is 2 points higher than their season average.
headChopper: I prefer single-entry contests with smaller fields for this slate. Tonight, I’m focusing on favorable matchups for jump shooters, so my 1 lineup will include a majority of them. Devin Booker and Tyler Herro are locks for me, along with a few others. Stacking 3-point shooters is risky due to the variance involved, but if they all get hot on the same night, it can lead to a strong GPP-winning lineup.
Dean78904: My main focus is single-entry and smaller-field tournaments. The current plan is to play one of Tyler Herro or Bam Adebayo in every lineup, and I’m not fully opposed to rostering both. If I were to go away from that, it will likely be because I’m stacking some of the expensive pieces in the ATL/PHX game.
