What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. My plan tonight is to be overweight on the ATL/UTA game. The Hawks are going to be without Trae Young and likely Kristaps Porzingis, while the Jazz are without Walker Kessler, Taylor Hendricks, Kyle Anderson, and Georges Niang. This is my favorite game environment and a great one to stack in DFS.

headChopper: I’m playing smaller-field GPPs with limited entries on this small slate. The injuries are going to create a lot of chalk, but it’s good chalk with these severely condensed rotations. In the NBA, I prefer to eat that chalk and get different elsewhere. It’s tougher to do on a slate this small, but for me, the leverage will come from rostering one of the high-projection studs who aren’t getting as much pOWN% despite their salary. Donovan Mitchell and Pascal Siakam stand out to me early.

Dean78904: I mostly focus on single-entry and smaller-field contests. 3 of the slate’s 6 teams (Hawks, Cavs, and Suns) played last night, so we’re at the mercy of waiting for injury reports as I write this. The assumption is that several key players will not play (e.g. Kristaps Porzingis, Mark Williams), and I wouldn’t be surprised if more get added to the list. My current approach is to make game stacks, with ATL/UTA being my favorite one.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
