NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, December 10
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Jalen Williams
headChopper: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
Stevietpfl: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
tcsmith031: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. My plan of attack is to load up on the Magic. They could easily get blown out in this game, but the market doesn’t seem to be overreacting to the news that Orlando will be without Franz Wagner and Paolo Banchero. The Magic are only 7.5-point underdogs. If this game stays competitive, we should see several players from the Magic in the optimal lineup.
headChopper: I’m building one lineup for single entry. With only 2 games, it’s tough to avoid all the chalk, so I’ll embrace some of it, like Shai Gilgeous-Alexander and Cole Anthony. To set my team apart, I need a lower-pOWN% player (relative to the small slate) with blowup potential. While it’s still early, and things can change, Derek Lively is that guy for me right now.

Stevietpfl: In my single-entry contest, I will be overweight on the DAL/OKC game and fade the Bucks. It’s a 2-game slate – raw points matter, but I prefer Luka Doncic and Shai Gilgeous-Alexander over Giannis Antetokounmpo tonight. As we get closer to lock, I will look for 1-2 lower-pOWN% value options to pivot off the chalk. Right now, I like Moe Wagner and Klay Thompson to be different.
tcsmith031: I’ll keep things focused on single-entry and 3-max tournaments. On bigger slates, I usually implement rules to get no more than 2-3 players per team, depending on the situation. I’ll relax some of those rules with only 2 games on the board, but keeping some of them in place will help me avoid dupes. Conditional rules – like IF a lineup has Giannis Antetokounmpo, using at least 2 Magic players on the other side also makes sense.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
