Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Who is your favorite contrarian play (when considering price, matchup, projected ownership, etc.) on the board and why?

Notorious: Keyonte George – Despite topping 50 fantasy points in 4 of his last 5 games and being undervalued in DFS all season, George continues to get overlooked on these large slates. He’s projected for 10% ownership on DraftKings and 3% ownership on FanDuel. The Jazz have a decent matchup at home against the Wolves, and there’s a good chance Lauri Markkanen gets the night off with this being the second half of a back-to-back. I’ll continue to be overweight on George.

headChopper: Shai Gilgeous-Alexander – The low early pOWN% on SGA is very appealing here, even on a back-to-back. He’s obviously an elite player and fantasy producer, but this pick is more narrative-driven than anything. OKC not only lost to the Spurs and got eliminated from the NBA Cup, but then several Spurs players – including Victor Wembanyama – went out of their way to talk some trash afterwards. I think this team, and SGA in particular, comes into tonight locked in and looking for some real revenge.

ncorfield8k: Josh Giddey – Giddey just played 32 minutes against the Hawks a couple of days ago and narrowly missed a triple-double. He’ll have another shot to finish the job. It’s a great matchup with the Hawks, who, over the past 10 games, have played at the 2nd-fastest pace in the NBA while ranking 27th in defensive rating. It’s the 10th-best matchup for Combo Guards in our Defense vs. Archetype tool.
