NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, December 3

Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?

Notorious: Brandon Miller
headChopper: Brandon Miller
Stevietpfl: Brandon Miller
tcsmith031: Brandon Miller

What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?

Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments. I want to be overweight on two teams in particular – the Raptors and the Hornets. The Raptors are without Immanuel Quickley and still have a team total that is 4.7 points higher than their season average. The Hornets are without four of their best players: LaMelo Ball, Miles Bridges, Tre Mann, and Grant Williams. Their matchup isn’t as enticing, but they are playing at home, and the Sixers are missing their two best rim protectors.

headChopper: I’ll be playing some single-entry and 5-entry max contests. As of now (noon), I’m embracing the chalk with Brandon Miller and plan to include him in all five of my lineups. I’m also leaning toward using Scottie Barnes in four of the five lineups to ensure I’m well overweight on him as well. For the sub-$4,000 chalk players on DraftKings, I’m looking to get different by going underweight on them and exploring other options in that price range or entirely different builds.

Stevietpfl: I prefer single-entry contests for the NBA. On this slate, I’m going to be overweight on the studs from teams that are in must-win situations for the NBA Cup. I think these players present the highest ceiling, and the coaches might be willing to play them for a few extra minutes. I’ll look to other games for value options.

tcsmith031: I prefer large-field GPPs on large slates like this one. On FanDuel, where the Warriors are popping as a great source of value, I’ll be sure to bring it back with at least one Nugget – preferably Nikola Jokic – if I’m rostering multiple Warriors players. I like a similar strategy on DraftKings, where several Hornets look like good values. Tyrese Maxey and the rest of the Sixers aren’t currently projected to be super popular, which makes them natural stacking partners to correlate with the chalky Charlotte
pieces.

Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
