NBA DFS Picks: DraftKings & FanDuel Expert Survey for Tuesday, December 31
Who is your favorite player to spend up for in cash games?
Notorious: Desmond Bane & Jaren Jackson
headChopper: Kevin Durant
Stevietpfl: Kevin Durant
tcsmith031: Jaren Jackson
What is your preferred tournament format (e.g. large-field, single-entry) to play on this slate? How do you plan to beat that field of opponents? What tactic or strategy will set you apart?
Notorious: I prefer small-field tournaments and will only be building one lineup. I’m going to eat the chalk on Memphis, but I would like to keep my options open for the final game of the slate, given the fact that Cleveland is playing on the second half of a back-to-back and both LeBron James and Anthony Davis are questionable. We could have some excellent plays open up after lock.
headChopper: I’m running one lineup in single-entry fields. On a small slate like this, I’ll embrace the Memphis chalk but look to differentiate by pairing it with a lower-owned star, like Victor Wembanyama or Devin Booker (undecided at the moment).

Stevietpfl: I’ll be playing a single-entry contest. Typically, I try to find 1-2 value options to pivot off the chalk, but tonight I’m going to be overweight on the Memphis value. I will be overweight on Victor Wembanyama, which looks to be contrarian on a small slate.
tcsmith031: I’ll stick with single-entry GPPs. The Grizzlies are popping as the best source of value, and it’s hard to avoid playing at least 2 of them in a lineup. I’ll set a rule to force at least one bring-back from the Phoenix side for lineups, including at least 2 Memphis pieces. I’m also planning to set a max of 4 Grizzlies per lineup.
Who is your favorite play (when considering price, matchup, roster construction, etc.) on the board and why?
